Getting started
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store.
- Open the app and use the Fields page to choose what customers can edit.
- Set your edit window and toggles on the Settings page.
- Match your brand on the Appearance page.
- Share your customer editor link (
https://your-store.myshopify.com/apps/edit-address) or enable the Thank You block to surface it automatically.

How do customers find the edit page?
Via the link above, or automatically on the order confirmation (Thank You) page if you enable that block in Settings.
How long can customers edit an order?
You decide. Set the edit window (e.g. 1, 6, 24, 48 hours, or no limit) in Settings. A live countdown shows customers how long they have left.
Can a customer edit someone else’s order?
No. To open an order a customer must enter both the order number and the email on the order, and attempts are rate-limited to prevent guessing.
What about variant (size/color) swaps?
If enabled, customers can switch to another variant of the same price only. The change is verified to leave the order total unchanged — never an extra charge or refund.
Will it work after an order is fulfilled?
By default edits close once an order is being prepared for shipment. You can allow edits on fulfilled orders in Settings if you prefer.
What data does the app store?
None of your customers’ personal details. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
